Rachel Archer
Hi, my name is Rachel. I am 38 and have 2 very fabulous, self sufficient teenagers.
When my children were toddlers, I had my in home daycare license. I am not currently licensed. For years I returned to the working class but found that I didn't have as much time with my family and due to some physical abilities, had the need to stay near the home.
I have now been home for a few years, and since my children don't rely on me as much, I have extra time on my hands. I have spent my extra time helping others raise their children, and have loved every minute of it.
I love children and would like to spend some time helping you raise your kids to be bright, happy, balanced individuals that they are capable of becoming with the right care.
First Aid Certified and have I taken a few childcare classes.
References are available upon request.
I live in Bremerton WA.
My Philosophy: I believe that raising children is the most important job on the planet. The care givers are the ones who set standards, teach all the important things, good or bad for generations to come. How many times have you heard a child use exact words, phrases or even facial gestures that you have used? I am guessing often, so the things that are repeated need to be of higher quality. Every single thing that we say, do, act, and even believe is taught to our children. That's a pretty important job, and I take it seriously in the fact that I think children should be cared for as if your own, without stepping over boundaries. Everything you say, do or even don't do is being taught to the little ones.
A good teacher/care giver must be a very special mix of patience, kindness, creativity, good core values, stability and consistency. Each individual child is at a different phase of growth and development. Each child is so unique in what they need that a caregiver must be able to provide learning opportunities at every stage. I love spending time with kids, and while in my care, it is obvious that your children are in a very happy, nurturing, safe place.
If you have any questions or anything you would like to discuss with me, just send me an email I will get get back to you shortly. I am flexible and able to negotiable most circumstances, just chat with me about it!
